Eternal life is the evidence of our faith (believe) in Christ and it's our present hour possession. For the believer is a "haver".
In John 3:36 the bibles says “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him”. The amplify version explains it this way (John 3:36) “And he who believes in (has faith in, clings to, relies on) the Son has (now possesses) eternal life. But whoever disobeys (is unbelieving toward, refuses to trust in, disregards, is not subject to) the Son will never see (experience) life, but [instead] the wrath of God abides on him. [God's displeasure remains on him; His indignation hangs over him continually.]”
Habakkuk 2:4 says something interesting. It says “Look at the proud; his soul is not straight or right within him, but the [rigidly] just and the [uncompromisingly] righteous man shall live by his faith and in his faithfulness. ”
Deception is to live waiting and hoping for GOD to make something happen, which he has already made happen. As born again believers, our only hope is the coming of Jesus Christ which we know by his word and are assured of. Jesus Christ coming as a thief is to the unsaved who's not born of the word and not conscious of the deep things of GOD. Therefore by faith, we call forth for the things that be not as though they are, and see the manifestation as our present hour possession. Faith makes us understand that, it's not when you hold what you desire in your hands or see it with your physical eyes when you pray that you know you have it,your spirit took possession of your desires at the time you prayed in faith and believed that you got it. And therefore you have it. The believer is a "haver".
Mark 11:23-24
[23]Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
[24]For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].
