What are you waiting for? if you are visualizing what you are waiting for? Do you see it in your life come true?
That is what the faith tries to teach us to transfer from the spiritual plane to the physical plane what is being desired.
Faith in Hebrew is "Emunah",which means "truth, faithfulness, faith, firmness". This word comes from the root of the well-known and popular word "Amen". That is why, in saying Amen, we are confirming the truth that has been said.
Faith in Greek is "Pistis", which is much simpler and is translated as "Trust".
Faith is one of the most important and central themes of the Bible, both in the Old and New Testaments.
Usually when we speak of Faith, a mistaken and religious meaning of faith comes to mind, such as dogmas and pagan beliefs where the stick or stone is worshiped, objects carved or made by the hands of man (Hab 2:19). ; Ps 135: 15-18).
The Faith that speaks the Bible is the confidence, certainty and conviction of God through the saving work of Jesus Christ. By whom by grace we receive Salvation through faith in Him (Rom 5: 1, 4: 5, 3:22, Ga 2:16, Phil 3: 9)
How to have Faith?
To have Faith, we have to start from what the Bible teaches. The only source of faith is Jesus Christ, he is the only one who can increase our faith or help us in unbelief.
A very clear example of this is seen in Luke 17: 5 "The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith." Another example we see in the Bible is the unbelieving father who cried out to Jesus for his son in Mark 9:24 "And immediately the father of the boy cried out and said: I believe; help my disbelief. "
The letter to the Romans also does not teach that faith is obtained by hearing the word of God. Therefore, it is very important to read the Bible to obtain Faith or increase our Faith. Jesus Christ is the Living Word of God, who teaches us and increases our faith through his word (Jn 1: 1).
So faith is by hearing, and hearing, by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Faith is accompanied by Works and Faith without Works is incomplete. True Faith transforms our life, our behavior and our thoughts.
My brothers, what will it profit if someone says that he has faith, and has no works? Can faith save him? And if a brother or sister is naked, and they need daily maintenance, and one of you says to them: Go in peace, be warmed up and satisfied, but you do not give them the things that are necessary for the body. take advantage of?. So also faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. But someone will say: You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works (James 2: 14-18).

Abraham
And Abraham answered: God will provide himself as a lamb for the burnt offering, my son. And they went together (Ge 22: 8).
Caleb
Give me now this mountain, of which Jehovah spoke that day; for you heard on that day that the Anakims are there, and that there are large and fortified cities. Perhaps Jehovah will be with me, and I will cast them out, as Jehovah has said (Jos 14:12).
Jonathan
So Jonathan said to his page in arms: Come, let us go to the garrison of these uncircumcised; maybe Jehovah will do something for us, because it is not difficult for Jehovah to save with many or with few (1 Sa 14: 6).
David
David added: Jehovah, who has delivered me from the claws of the lion and the claws of the bear, he will also deliver me from the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Go, and the Lord be with you (1 Sa 17:37).
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego
Behold our God whom we serve can deliver us from the fiery furnace of fire; and out of your hand, O king, he will deliver us (Da 3:17).
Men who believed God and not their limitations, managed to achieve the favor of God, they had the confidence that their God would not leave them ashamed, they knew in whom they were waiting, in whom they had placed their trust, they declared the word of faith, they declared the vision and then they went after the vision with a committed action therefore they obtained their victory and their blessing.
