Let Your Faith Speak

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Your faith in God is not just your conviction about Him and His, it is an expression of that conviction by a corresponding action. Faith without expression or action is dead, being alone without life. The Bible kind of faith is not mere ''I believe”, it is "I believe, therefore I speak or act.’' Whatever you claim to believe that lacks expression, is not faith. That's fake! Bible faith is not void of expression. It must be expressed through words and action, doing something.

2 Corinthians 4:13

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

Did you see how believing goes with speaking, and how that faith is not without speaking words consistent with its claim?

Now, considering our Opening verse, let's look at the operation of faith from the teaching of Jesus about mountain moving faith. This is one of the most vividly illustrated and demonstrative teachings of Jesus Christ. He cursed the fig tree that was unfruitful by saying: ”No man eats fruits of thee hereafter forever; and His disciples heard it” (Mark 11:14).

Now this was Jesus faith in demonstration. He spoke His faith out loud, loud enough to be heard by the disciples. He didn't whisper His faith, He didn't speak in His heart, but He released His faith in spoken words loud enough to be heard. Did you see that? Then He taught His disciples to use faith, having shown them a vivid example. This reveals Jesus teaching on faith that is so rounded and complete.

Note the flow of faith that it begins with saying something in line with what you believe. You can't just believe and not say something consistent With your faith. Speaking your faith is what it takes to release the potency and power of faith. In fact, performance is by speaking your faith. Now, go ahead and speak what you believe according to the Word as to your health, finances, ministry, family, academics, business, etc. It's not one-off. Let it be your consistent conversation. Do not let the Word depart from your mouth speak your faith out loud!
