Today we speak of a wonder created by the man who is on the bridge of the Upper World, which rises 565 meters above the canyon of the Nizhu River and connects the southern provinces of Yunnan and Guizhou.

With a length of 1,341 meters and a cost of 1,000 million yuan (144 million dollars, 138 million euros), it began to be built in 2013 and ended in September 2016.
More than 1,000 engineers and technicians participated in the construction of this suspended viaduct.
The conditions in which it was built were very, very extreme, explained in the program Newshour of the BBC Simon Pitchers, of the Institution of Structural Engineers of the United Kingdom.
In terms of topography, it is a very mountainous area and that bridge is difficult to build in that type of environment. But the whole structure was built in virtual reality, in the computers of the engineers who designed it.
This open infrastructure today forms part of a highway linking the cities of Hangzhou, capital of the eastern province of Zhejiang, and Ruili, in Yunnan.
