Take care of the excuse and assume the challenges that await you.

People with courage are characterized by being persevering and developing thoughts of conquests and victories. The attitude of a person with a brave spirit is always positive, confident and full of optimism.

Meanwhile, unfortunate people are characterized by developing negative thoughts and full of insecurity. The mind of an unfortunate person is focused on evading the challenges and commitments before him.

In the kingdom of God, he urges Christians to develop a spirit of courage. The Word of God says that "Only the brave will snatch the Kingdom of heaven."

When we review chapter 4 and 5 of the book of Exodus referring to Moses and the burning bush, we can find God reveals himself to Moses and entrusts him with the responsibility of bringing the people of Israel out of Egypt. God to convince Moses to accompany him in this task allowed his power through a set of signs and wonders. However, overwhelming doubt and negative thoughts troubled the heart of Moses, who immediately responded to the Lord with an excuse that limits his task of removing the people of Israel from Egypt. Moses said to the Lord:

Exodus 4: 10-12 King James Version (NIV), 10 Then Moses said to Jehovah, Oh, Lord! I have never been a man of easy speech, neither before, nor since you speak to your servant; because I'm late in speech and clumsy tongue. 11 And Jehovah said to him, Who gave the mouth to man? Or who made the mute and the deaf, the one who sees and the blind? Am I not Jehovah? 12 Now, go, and I will be with your mouth, and I will teach you what to speak.

Moses' excuse to avoid the responsibility God assigned him was based on saying: "Because I am slow in speech and clumsy with the tongue."

If we place personal, physical and emotional limitations on the challenges of life; We would certainly be unfortunate and unsuccessful people. Under these conditions, achieving success would be impossible.

God's attitude toward Moses and anyone whom God chooses for a ministry will always be to make known that only God has the power and control of life. The Lord answered Moses:

Who gave the man's mouth? Or who made mute and deaf, those who see and the blind? Am I not Jehovah? 12 Now, go away, and I will be with your mouth, and I will teach you what to speak. Exodus 4: 11-12 King James Version (NIV)

In other words, we have no excuse to avoid the responsibilities that God assigns us to obtain success in what we have to face. The same God who made the mouth, the dumb and the deaf, is the same God who has had compassion on us to give us salvation and eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Excusitis is a disease of thought that diminishes the minds of unfortunate men. We are called to develop and renew the spirit of our mind with the word of God.
