Jesus was talking to his disciples within the context of serving God since Jesus never performed a self-serving miracle. All miracles have to be within the will of God. God has to want that mountain moved before it can be moved.
This is a verse that's often quoted and seldom understood. Ultimately it means that God will help you do whatever is necessary to do what he calls you to do.
