NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
For by [faith--[b]trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.
By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

The moment you become a child of God you are left with no other choice than to live by faith.
Faith is the ultimate tool for escape in this very harsh, hard and wicked world. That was why God said "this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith". Even the just can only survive and live by faith. The moment you become a child of God you are left with no other choice than to live by faith. But there is how to use faith, and there is a way faith works. And our text gives a clue and a little insight.
The worlds were framed by the word of God. The word world there, is not the universe or "cosmos" as it is represented in the Greek. But in the "worlds" here talks of the ages, seasons or periods known as "aions". This means that seasons and periods, were the time past. This also means that you can enjoy prosperity in the midst of recession and abject poverty. You can be fruitful in a family where everyone is barren. It is possible.
How does this happen? You will have to create your own season by framing your world by your faith. And faith calls those things that be not as though they were; such as when men are cast down you shall say there is a lifting up. Use your mouth to say what you want to see and you will see yourself inside a frame that is not affected by what is happening around. Also, create new seasons for yourself by sowing seeds on a consistent basis according to Genesis 8:22.
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Seed Sowing is the activation of new seasons in your life.
