Yeah, everything is getting set for the first Steem Skill Acquisition Training - SSAT. The training is just in 2 days and the training is going to be on Fish Farming and Poultry Farming.
The venue of the training is the popular Papal Ground in Kubwa, Abuja Nigeria. Papal Ground is a popular place in Kubwa. The land was acquired by the the Nigerian Government in 1998 when Pope John Paul II visited Nigeria to host the Pope. After the visit, the land was handed over to Christians.
The Papal Ground was strategically chosen as the venue of the training cos of many reasons.
First, place is easy to locate for everyone, no matter the part of Abuja you are coming from. The Papal ground is just along the Kubwa express road.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) managing the ground has given out some parts of the land on rent/lease to fish farmers and poultry farmers. Hence there are a lot of fish ponds and poultry pens we can use for practical training.
Last week when I visited the venue, I took some pictures of some fish ponds that will be used for the training.
To get to the venue of the training, take a cab from anywhere in Abuja (Area 1, Wuse, Giri, Berger, Zuba, etc) to Kubwa and drop at Papal Ground.
