Today is Sunday and I will like to go into biblical words and I believe it will touch someone's heart.
The word "BY YOUR FRUIT" was one of the sermon of Jesus Christ on the mount.... He was telling His followers about false teachers and how we can identify them.
As we all know that every good tree will always bring forth good fruits while the bad trees will never bring forth good fruits.
Not only a false teachers known by their fruits, but so also are false Christians. How can we be sure that we are not the corrupt trees of which Jesus spoke of?
*** Every accountable person at some point brought forth bad fruit. However, penitent believers change their fruit and begin to bear fruits pleasing to the Lord.
This one's no longer walks after the flesh, but now after the spirit. As a Christian grows and walks a more mature walk following the Word of God., he mortifies or puts to death the works of the flesh and begins to bear spiritual fruits such as holiness, righteousness, meekness, temperance and so on.
As Jesus said in the book of John 15:5, I am the vine and ye are the branches... means we are being attached closely to the Lord and we must do all what He commanded us to do. Just as in the book of Luke6:46, John 14:15 and so on.
No one can be attached to God properly and bear the fruits of the devil.
What type of fruit are you bearing? Are you a good tree or a corrupt tree?
