The source of something is simply the person, place or thing which you get it from. A man’s source actually determines his resource – you can’t give what you don’t have and you can’t be bigger than your source; your source remains your source, everything you will ever need in life is found in the source. Our source in life as God’s children is found in his word. The way in which we can clinch to our source is by hearing from him. What you hear either makes you who God says you are or you listen to what the enemy says that makes you what you have allowed him make you. The word of God says in the book of Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God
The faith that is needed to become what God says you are is gotten by hearing and hearing by His word. You can’t continue to hear failure, sickness, defeat, disappointment and all manner of negative things about you all the days of your life and not eventually become it. So also you can’t continue to hear all of God’s word of who you are in Christ, your victories, divine health and not become it, it will eventually make you what His word says you are; the faith needed to become what he says you are is been produced as you continue to hear his word. It will build in you the capacity and ability needed to face any situation of life and still come out victorious. Notice what is written in Romans 10:17, the word hearing was used; faith cometh by hearing….. The word “hearing” is a continuous action word and not something that would be done once or twice, but continuously.
The more you keep hearing God’s word concerning that area of your life that seems like a hard nut to crack, the more you see the light of God’s word eradicating every form of darkness around you. The word of God gets into your spirit man when you hear the word.
“But if our gospel be hid, it is to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world had blinded the minds of them which believes not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them” – 2Corinthians 4:3-4
The word of God you hear when processed continuously in your spirit man forms an image of Christ in you and Christ is the express image of God Almighty. He knew what he was saying in the book of John 14:9 “...he that hath seen me hath seen the father…” it was not a guesswork–this was something he knew about. The word of God forms His image in a man. If you watch what is going on in the world today, you will come to discover that there are so much you can hear today in the world; all of these are Satan’s strategic plan to stop us from paying close attention to God’s word. It is what you believe that you give attention to hear, so because most people don’t believe God’s word; they don’t even want to hear it being preached to them, and as such, the devil comes to blind their minds.
The word of God that you hear and act with yields ultimate result in a man’s life; it changes everything about that particular man. The enemy is fully aware of this fact, that is why he is working 24 hours to see that the word of God you hear, does not find fulfillment in your life. Before the enemy steals that health, finance prosperity, joy and everything that God has blessed you with; he first of all steals the word that is sustaining that blessing of God in your life. It is the word of God that you hear and act upon that sustains His blessing upon your life. This is what the enemy does; he comes to you with the intension to turn that truth of God’s word to a lie. He says, are you really sure that is what God has told you? Don’t you think you have to do something else?
And if you are not careful you begin to hear the voice of the stranger. If you will not hear the voice of God concerning your situation, you might just be hearing the voice of a stranger. The word of God made this point clear in the book of John: And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know the voice of strangers. – John 10:5
They wouldn’t follow a stranger, because they knew the voice of their master. If it is the word of God you hear you wouldn’t hear the voice of strangers. It is my prayer that our ears be shot off to every voice of strangers regarding every situation of our lives, if you pay more attention hearing the wrong word, it has a way of building in you what that word carries.
In all of these, as we had talked about to hear the word of God, we need to put some key things into full consideration so as to properly utilize the word heard in the right dimension, for the specific purpose that they are targeted towards to our lives. It will be out of place to keep hearing messages in your finance, when you know very well that for that moment what you really need is divine health. The right word that generates the faith to accomplish what is needed must be heard. It is one thing to hear God’s word and another thing to hear appropriately the word needed for that particular situation of your life that practically needs a divine touch from heaven. What I am saying hence is that, more concentration should be placed in that particular word that is needed for that situation in your life for a turn around.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Timothy 2;15
I want to bring out a point from this scripture; “………… rightly dividing the word of truth”. Before I say something here, let me make known to you that there is a voice behind the written word of God – the word of God gets so saturated in your spiritual environment that you begin to hear the voice behind the letters. This comes as a result of conscious meditation in that particular word. It has happen to me several times and this even births the reason for writing this book. The word of God you hear has to be rightly divided or placed in that particular and specific area of your life that you need that change. Most people have wrongly divided the word of truth. God says a thing and because they don’t settle down with His word they make mistakes.
When the word of God is what you hear, you are not far from manifesting your rights and priviledges on earth. When you have the word of God in you, you have the right evidence why you should not be living with that disease, that cancer or disorder. Whatsoever God has not written concerning you that is finding a free breeding ground in your life is illegal and it is curse. Until you have his word in you, you can’t manifest for his glory. Before you admitted and noticed you had cancer you were told and because you believed wholly on what you have had about yourself that is the reason why it has remained there – hear what God has to say by his word and you will discover that what He wants for you is not sickness but divine health all the way.
So what are you hearing today? Are you hearing the sound of defeat or victory? Possibilities or impossibilities, sickness or health, abundance or lack, righteousness or unrighteousness? Choose what you hear today; hear God’s word that is your source and with him all that is needed for living life as a champion is guaranteed.
God works through people every day, and everyone is important to God. He loved us so much that He (the Source) sent us His only begotten Son as a Redeemer to save mankind. We have also heard that we are "the hands and feet" of God in the earth. Great post Brother Isaac. PEACE!

This is true brother isaac, we should make God's word the standard for our life
If we make God our everything he too will make us His everything.
God is our source, anything in life that is disconnected from it source is as good as dead, if we remove fish from water the fish will die, if we remove plant from the soil the plant will die, what about if you disconnect a man from God?

God is our greatest source because in him we have life,in other word,our existence as human comes from God both physical and spirtual person and filled such void we need a source which is the word of God.
