Physical and Spiritual Fatigue

Hello to all the steemit members, may God bless you. on this day I want to share about Physical and Spiritual Fatigue

Matthew 11: 28-29;

"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest: take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls;"

Fatigue in secular terms is the lack of strength after physical, intellectual or emotional work. Nowadays the human being is dedicated to the daily affairs and the daily eagerness so much in the work, in the home, personal diligences (that often are important) and in the case of the children and adolescents the school and / or preparatory ), that at nightfall the fatigue or physical and mental exhaustion is at its maximum limit.

This brings many an emotional affection, because of the circumstances that are experienced in these activities that can even cause depression, discomfort, sadness, bitterness, among other fruits of the flesh.

Gal 5: 19-21;

"And manifest are the works of the flesh, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, strife, dissensions, heresies, envies, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these, about which I admonish you, as I have told you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. "

That distances us from the presence of God and the love of our family, for example:
A man who is a builder and finds himself all day preparing cement, sticking blocks, lifting concrete structures among other things that this physical work requires, when his spirits and fatigue come to his house, it is extreme besides dealing with demanding bosses, and his body and mind is not in a position to have a pleasant moment before the Heavenly Father and his family environment, to such an extent (in the case of men) we lose even the notion of our priesthood and in women the wisdom to build the home.

Now, will this physical and mental fatigue bring spiritual weariness? Matthew 11:28

This verse not only speaks of physical exhaustion but also of spiritual exhaustion, since our body is tired, our spirit and soul too, when it is pending only to rest, to recover strength to continue with the routine that will then tire us again, making this a vicious circle (so to speak). We stop praying, reading the word and attending the congregation, which keeps man away from the presence of God.

presence of God

But how to overcome this spiritual exhaustion?
In the previous verse God gives us the answer saying that he will give us rest, let's see in Exodus 33:14, "And he said: My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

His presence will give us the strength to continue and free ourselves from the desire, just to seek Him and ask Him to help us to avoid that exhaustion affects us spiritually and not lose the blessings that He has prepared for our lives.

Philippians 4: 6-7;

"Be anxious for nothing, but your petitions be made known before God in all prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
His presence giving thanks for everything that happens to us every day.

An example of the strength that the Lord gives is in Joshua that after 45 years of leading the people of Israel, having eighty-five felt the strength of his youth, so much that he could still fight in wars and win, this is a sign of passion and total dedication to God.

Joshua 14: 10-11;

"Now, Jehovah has made me live, as he said, these forty-five years, from the time that Jehovah spoke these words to Moses, when Israel was walking in the wilderness, and now, behold, Today I am eighty-five years old, I am still as strong as the day that Moses sent me, what was my strength then, such is now my strength for war, and to go out and to enter. "

If we feel very tired is when we should serve the Lord who is always looking for us because he gave us life in abundance through his sacrifice on the cross.

John 6:47:

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me has eternal life."
