Then he told them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, let me borrow three loaves of bread. A friend of mine on a trip has dropped in on me, and I don’t have anything to serve him.’
Suppose he answers from inside, ‘Stop bothering me! The door is already locked, and my children are here with us in the bedroom. I can’t get up and give you anything!’ I tell you, even though that man doesn’t want to get up and give him anything because he is his friend, he will get up and give him whatever he needs because of his persistence. Prayer is our link to God. The bible says that we should pray without ceasing. This means at all times we should pray, not only in good times but also in bad times.
Believers of God today have been taking prayer for granted, the only time you will see people on their kneels is when there is trouble.
We shouldn't sit down for toubles to knock on our doors before we pray. That will be difficult moments to pray.
From the above scripture Jesus shared a scenario about a situation where someone approached his best friend and asked for help. unfortunately he went at a wrong time. He never bothered about the time, all he cared for was for his request to be answered.
Jesus said he wouldn't have been granted his request if it was because of friendship but because he was persistent in his request. He kocked the door so hard that his friend couldn't sleep neither could he turn him down.
This should be our lifestyle when we pray, we should persist. Persistence means not giving up no matter what. God answers people who push harder till they get the breakthough they need.

Until God hears your cry make up your mind not to give up, until God gives you what you need never stop bothering him. Isaiah said something so powerful:
“And I won’t remain silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I won’t stay quiet, until her vindication shines out like brightness, and her salvation like a burning torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all the kings your glory; and people will call you by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. And you’ll no longer be called ‘Deserted,’ and your land will no longer be called ‘Desolate’; but people will call you ‘Hephzibah,’ and your land ‘Beulah’— for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married.” “For just as a young man marries a maiden, so your sons will marry you; and just as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you. “Upon your walls, Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; all day and all night they won’t remain silent. You who make mention of the LORD, take no rest, and give him no rest until he prepares, establishes and makes Jerusalem a song of praise throughout the earth. Isaiah 62:1-7
He said he won't remain silent for Jerusalem's sake until until her vindication shines out like brightness. He was so determined to pray until God brings liberty to his people. In the concluding part he showed us that God is around us and with His Holy angels He watches over us day and night.
He said we should give God no rest until he prepares, establishes and make Jerusalem song of His praise. Be admonished by these words today. If you really want to give up in prayer this is the right to rather intensify it.
Unitl you see that glory manifesting never stop praying, until you get the answers you need never stop praying.
