THE INSIDED VIRGINS AND THE PRUDENT VIRGINS
Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps, went out to meet the bridegroom, five of them were prudent and five foolish, the foolish, taking their lamps, took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels, together with their lamps. And the husband delayed, they all nodded and fell asleep, and at midnight there was a cry! Here comes the husband; come out to receive him! Then all those virgins got up and fixed their lamps.
And the foolish said to the wise, Give us of your oil; because our lamps go out But the prudent answered, saying, That we may not lack ourselves and you, go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves. But while they were going to buy, the husband came; and those who were ready went with him to the wedding, and the door was closed. Then the other virgins also came, saying! Lord, Lord, open us! But He answered, and said of certain I say to you, that I do not know you. Watch therefore, for you do not know the day or the hour in which the Son of man is to come.
(Matthew 25: 1-4) All the people in a church are divided into two distinct groups. Jesus calls these two groups prudent and foolish, the wise are members of the converted church, the foolish are members of the unconverted church.
