Where do you think your soul will go after death?
When referring to the immortality of the soul, the Bible teaches that the soul does not cease to exist when the body dies physically. Pay close attention to what it says;
Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body, but the soul can not kill, but fear the one who can destroy the soul and body in hell.
What happens when we die is no mystery to Jehovah the Creator of the brain. He knows the truth, and in his word, the bible, explains in what state the deceased are. There is clearly taught this fact: when a person dies, ceases to exist. Death is the opposite of life, so that the dead do not hear or think,. Not a single part of us continues to live when he dies. In effect, we do not possess an immortal soul or spirit.
Referring to a friend who had died, Jesus Christ mentioned the state in which the dead are found. First he told his disciples: Our friend Lazarus is rested. They understood that he was sleeping, recovering from an illness. But they were wrong, because Jesus I clarify next: Lazarus is dead (John 11: 11-14).
