I was attracted by the heading and the picture of coins in a bottle, i came to see what you have to say, to my greatest surprise, you made so much sense!
One thing that believers fail to see is that prosperity in this world is absolutely nothing to God and to the devil also which was why Satan was ready to offer Christ all the earthly riches in exchange of his eternal glory and kingship, both of them knows that physical things are of no value, it’s only man that doesn’t know because of his falling nature, lies and hypes being gulps in today in (churches) about wealth and prosperity, a message from transformed ministers of Satan in pulpits. Satan know because he once experienced the eternal riches in the father.
True prosperity is not about how much you gather on earth but what you are able to lay up for yourself in heaven.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: (Matthew 6:19).If you die today, where will you spend eternity?
What matters most to God is our souls, not our tent here (flesh) which can not inherit his kingdom.
Yet God is more than able to take perfect care of his called out ones here on earth, but we must adhere to his advice;
1 Timothy 6:6-12
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
