Text: Hebrews 13:8 NIV
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Many times we have been taught to see God as someone that is hot today and cold tomorrow, someone that is white today and can suddenly change to black the next day. Does God really changes?

No! God doesn't change! Scriptures says:
James 1:17 NIV
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

And we know that God is love!
1 John 4:8 NIV
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

That's his whole make up, we see this revealed in Christ, who is the fullness of God! The ONLY way he has provided for us to know him. See this:
John 14:9 NIV
Jesus answered: “Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Colossians 1:15 NIV
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

And all we saw in Christ is boundless love, he ate with sinners, a prostitute washed his feet, he healed everyone, both Jews and Gentiles, he even healed one of those who came to arrest him! Just love!
Till his last breath, he prayed for those who nailed him, he defended the helpless, for our salvation he endured all things.
This is our God, A God of love that never change!

Malachi 3:6 NIV
“I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.

Since God never change, everything that comes from him never change! His love for you, his mercy, his grace, his peace in your life, his joy! They are all constant! They don't change or disappear with time! He is forever faithful
1 Chronicles 16:34 NLT
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Since we have understand That God's nature is to do good he can not change or make a-turn, we must also learn to see God and relate with him as a good God that He is.

Don't see God as a God of evil, Many people do see God this way and as a result He must be dreaded not reverence,
A God that we stay away from when we fail because of fear that he will give us EVIL and curse us isn't our God, Infact, this kind of fear is the opposite of faith..

We receive from God through faith, we do everything with him through it, but when this is replaced with fear, we move away from him and we picture him in our mind as someone that is always angry at us and capable of harming us.

The scriptures says:
Romans 8:15 NIV
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

It's only a slave that dread his boss, But we are not slaves but sons

Galatians 4:5 NLT
God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.

A bona-fide child doesn't dread his dad, he lives with full freedom and relate well with his father because there is no relationship in fear!

Whenever we fall into mistakes, God is not in a corner planning the kind of sickness to give to us, He wants you to come closer and make use of the Grace he has given you to overcome that sin.

And this is just the message I want to communicate to you today, That God is a Loving God that never changes, He accepted you when you didn't deserve acceptance, and he's ready to guide you out of your failings, he is set to give and give and give because that's the nature of his love.

So, God is a good God, HE IS A FATHER! A father of Love and not hatred, of good and not evil and he changes not!
This is our God.
