TO KNOW GOD IS TO FEAR
The principle of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah;
The foolish despise wisdom and teaching. (Pr.1: 7)
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is intelligence. (Proverbs 9:10)
Fear of God is not fear
Then what is the fear of God?
The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; Haughtiness and arrogance, the evil way, And the perverse mouth, I hate. (Proverbs 8:13)
• The more you respect and fear God, the more you will hate evil.
• The love of God and the love of sin can not coexist.
• Hosting secret sins means that you tolerate evil in you.
• Break definitively with sin and commit yourself entirely to God.
If we say we know God, we must hate evil and seek holiness
TO KNOW GOD IS TO SERVE
A person who really knows God:
a) He puts all his gifts and knowledge at the service of God: Saul, when he met him, he placed himself at his disposal.
and falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying: Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? 5 He said: Who are you, Lord? And he said to him: I am Jesus, whom you persecute; hard thing is to kick against the sting. 6He, trembling and fearful, said: Lord, what do you want me to do? And the Lord said to him, Get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you must do. (Acts 9: 4-6)
And when all of us had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue: Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the sting. 15 Then I said: Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said: I am Jesus, whom you persecute. 16But get up, and stand on your feet; For I have appeared to you for this, to be a minister and a witness to the things you have seen, and to those in which I will appear to you, 17bringing you away from your people, and from the Gentiles, whom I now send you, 18to his eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God; so that they may receive, through the faith that is in me, forgiveness of sins and inheritance among the sanctified.

b) Become an Evangelist
And when the voyage was over, they came to the land of Gennesaret. When the men of that place knew him, they sent news throughout all the land around him, and brought to him all the sick, and begged him to let them touch only the edge of his robe; and all who touched, they were healthy. (Mt. 14: 34-36)
He who meets the Lord preaches at all times
TO KNOW GOD IS TO TRUST
Those who know your name will trust in you, because you, O Lord, have not forsaken the

To trust is: To lean, to believe, to commission, to entrust, to give, to faith. This is more than a trusting of lips, it is to leave the burden and forget me and wait patiently to answer
TO KNOW GOD IS TO LOVE
• Love your brother.
• Love the work of God
• Love your church
• Fall in love with church projects
• And this way you will be demonstrating your love to God and you will show that you know him
Supposing there was a group of people traveling about your area, led by a charismatic speaker who claims that the world is ending soon. He promises he alone can save you, but only if you sell your belongings, devote the rest of your life to him, and cut off family members who try to stop you.
He also wants to change your name, advises you to leave your home/job if necessary to follow him, and says that if you don’t love him more than your own family, you’re not worthy of him. What sort of group is that?
