Fantastic post.
One thing I always keep in mind is success is messy.
What we see when we look at the successful,
is only the polished public victories.
We always forget that for that victory to occur,
there were countless battles to be fought in private.
Some battles were lost, but by not retreating,
by having the conviction to press forward no matter what,
the war was won and celebrated in public.
Each failure is only one lost battle,
and to win the war you cannot quit based on one battle.
You win the war by learning from your defeats,
and becoming stronger as a result.
