A Christian who does not work for his neighbor is not a true Christian.

It corresponds to us as true Christians, to continue studying, analyzing and meditating on the sacred scriptures, asking the Holy Spirit to fill us with wisdom, to evangelize; which is not an easy task, because first we have to be convinced to convince.

To be truly involved in the light of Christ, to make it transparent and whoever sees me is him, whom he sees, and I see in each beggar, in each patient, in each thirsty the face of our Lord and my heart is filled with his mercy; to fulfill the most sublime act that a human being can exercise, to extend a hand to the most needy; In a disinterested way, without your right hand, know what your left hand does.

Give without expecting any reward, find in the action of offering true happiness and rejoicing, understanding that there is more pleasure in giving than in receiving.

Thank God, for being on the side of who can share what he has and not be in the place of the person who feels in need of asking.

Not with this I want to underestimate anyone, who asks is a humble being, who he asks for help from those who can grant it. Jesus told us more, blessed are the poor, the thirsty, those who are hungry. How different the world would be, if each one of us put our strengths and good intentions at the service of the brother; the world would become a better place.

In that place that we deserve in our transitory step for this earthly life.

I share below a work that we are executing in the Parish with the collaboration of the faithful who come to the Sunday Mass, the so-called "Solidarity Pot" which consists in collecting food (rice, grains, pasta, alinos, vegetables, among others) , we prepare the food with the supplies obtained and every Sunday, it is offered to those who so request a plate of food; we recognize that it is little, but for the moment, it is what our purchasing power allows us to encompass.

Given that we are going through a very complicated economic situation in the country (For nobody is a secret, the crisis that is being lived in Venezuela).

I invite you to join a project in your parish, I guarantee that the satisfaction is great.

This is a good post. Try to always put applicable scripture into a Christian post as the Word of God has power!

Mark 12:29-31 29 Jesus answered him, “The [k]first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ [l]This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Blessings!

thanks for comment.
I will follow the advice and place biblical quotes in my next post.
A sublime mandate to love the neighbor as well.
Blessings.

"Gracias a Dios, por estar del lado de quien puede compartir lo que tiene y no estar en el lugar de la persona que siente la necesidad de pedir. "
Una vez mi hermana me comentó que esa frase había cambiado su forma de ver la vida, y al conocerla, también me la cambió a mí.
Gracias a Dios por eso, entre infinito número de cosas más.
Que bonito lo que hacen en tu iglesia, cada quien da lo mejor que puede y la satisfacción de servir a Dios no tiene precio.
Saludos.

Very thoughtful the phrase you learned from your sister, beautiful way to lead life.
Thanks for such sensitive words @syllem
Sometimes listen: You give what you have in your heart, there is the greatness or smallness of the soul.
