THE DIVISION

in #steemchurch5 years ago

Good day to everyone. I say a big happy weekend and happy Sunday to us all. I hope we all had a great week and an amazing church service. In continuation with our bible review, the last time, we talked about how the God of Light called forth light and how it brought about illumination and solution to the dark places already existing.

Moving on today, we will be looking into the next verse Genesis 1:4 which says;

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

What came to your mind there? Well reading this, what I just thought of is that there is absolutely nothing that God will create that will not be good. Our God is a good God so He will always make good things. For light to illuminate the earth and reveal the dark areas, then it has to be good.

But note that God when God made light, it doesn't mean that darkness was completely gone. No, and that's why the verse continues saying; and God divided the light from the darkness. Another version says He separated the light from darkness. I pray again that God Almighty will separate darkness from the light in your life in Jesus name and every work of darkness trying to come up, may God beat them down with light in Jesus name.

Let's go on to verse 5 on the same chapter which says;

And God called light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Like I mentioned earlier, because God created light does not mean that darkness was completely over. And here we were made to understand that God commanded light to shine during the day and darkness should remain in the night; which is the first day of creation.

So therefore, the first thing God made which is the first day was Day and Night . Keep coming... Keep reading and let's dig deep into the scripture together. So help us God.

Thanks so much for reading...
Till I come your way next time...
