Good day beautiful people. Hope you all are doing amazingly well today. The last time we talked about the first day of creation, how God made day and night and separated them from each other. I hope you are enjoying the interesting study.
Today, I'll be talking about three verses together which denotes the second day of creation. Do you even know what God made on the second day at all? Lets look into the scripture. The book of Genesis 1:6-8 says;
And God said, Let there be firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Sincerely, there is something the Yoruba people of Nigeria call "Àdììtu" which literarily means "Unsearchable". This our God is unsearchable and the part of the bible confirms it first. The firmament from the dictionary means the heaven or sky.
Now the question is, which water did God say the firmament should be in the midst of? Is it that the whole earth was filled with water? Is it that there is water above the skies now? Because here, we can see that God divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. Well whatever it is, it is all God's work and its a mystery to millions till date.
Well, the firmament is the second thing God created. I pray that may God come into every mystery surrounding your life and give you peace in Jesus name and may the reason for creation not go in vain in our lives in Jesus name. You just hold on to God and all will be well.
