Good morning to every member of this @steemchurch community, to the apostles and @sirknight the leader of this awesome community its a beautiful morning and i will be talking on the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

It is by the fruits we produce daily that we know whether we are growing in the spirit or not. We can always tell a tree by its fruits,(Matthew 7:20) the scripture always speaks of bearing fruits, thus in the old testament, God expected his people to bear good fruits, while in the New Testament, Jesus expected his followers to bear greater fruits. Says he,
"I am the vine you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. ‘By this is my father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. ‘It was not you, who chose me, it was I who chose you and appointed you to go out and bear fruit that will last (John 5: 5, 8, 16)".
It is thus expected that any Christian growing in the power of the spirit should put up actions that will enable people around to perceive Christ-like spirit in him. Attributes like faith, love prayerfulness, self-control, humility, etc in the lives of Christians who are living in the Spirit.
Doubtlessly, fruits in the spirit ripen the good dispositions within the Christian’s hearts which will enable Christians try to make efforts to practice those virtues. In his letter to the Galatians, Paul names these fruits, though the list is not exhaustive as there are many more fruits of the spirit that are expected of Christians. Efforts should therefore be made by Christians to imbibe these fruits of the spirit as putting them into practice will go a long way to showing how we have embraced the Spirit. Paul’s list of the fruits of the Spirit is:
"love, joy, kindness, generosity, faith, mildness and chastity” (Galatians 5:22)".
And the presence of these fruits in the lives of Christians shows how they are prepared to grow in the Spirit.
