Thank you. I have accepted Jesus as my lord and saviour. I do my best to please him but I often feel like I fail everyday. I have severe chronic depression and it makes it so hard to keep fighting. I look for encouragement in his words. I just hope that in the end I don't let Him down.

This Knight reckons he would be depressed too living under Trudy's dictatorship.
Turn to the Bible. What did Jesus do in a time of political and economic mismanagement? And for lack of a better phrase 'financial enslavement' to the state?
We are all facing similar adversities to Jesus and the Apostles.
The Bible was written long before concepts such as 'socialism', 'communism', 'welfare state', 'globalism', yet these are the exact same ideologies that Jesus sought to combat.
The elite seek to destroy capitalism and the Christian faith and, thereby the human spirit. They steal from the working class with their frivolous promises to the poor. All the while enriching themselves and their cronies.
The 'crusade for freedom' seeks to stop them by waking up the masses to their plans, growing our faith and through the eventual peaceful democratic removal of these vile politicians.
Join your local conservative political party Brother Baily - and never give up! It will be a long road for all of us and we may never get to see the fruits of our labor. However a whole new generation of humanity will live freely because of us.

dear friend to follow Jesus is never so easy, but if you want to please him with all your heart and with all your mind you must know that Satan will not be happy and try to afflict you in any way making you feel guilty so you do not follow Jesus.
But if you accepted Jesus you have all the authority to cast out demons and every unclean spirit that wants to attack you or your family, the Bible says in Mark 16:17
And these signs will accompany those who have believed: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues.
I know that Satan afflicts me with this relentless depression in an effort to pull me away from Jesus and on a daily basis I tell him out loud to leave me and leave my mind. I will fight tooth and nail to the very end. I didn't grow up with any relion and I know that the depression is also what drove me to seek out God and Jesus and to bring Him into my life, without the depression I'm not sure I would have found Him so in a way there is a light to having the depression and it causes me to search and learn more about Him and try to live my life to serve His purpose. I still have a lot to learn but I know that I will get there especially with the help of my small group through my local church

Of course, you can be free, your group can be small, but whoever is with you is the God of creation, to whom the universe and everything created belongs.
The bible John 8: 31-38 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
The truth will set you free
31 Jesus then said to the Jews who had believed in him: If you continue in my word, you will truly be my disciples;
32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
