Blessed parishioners of Steemchurch, the peace of the Lord with you, you want to share an issue that has been a blessing for my life and to know that while investing in Jehovah's projects, he returns to invest in ours. How good to know these things, that is: how good you can look at least a little of God's plan for our lives! Act that happens, only through the divine revelation of the HOLY SPIRIT of the Lord!
"But seek first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" Matthew 6:33
Who is able to receive revelation from the SPIRIT of the LORD? The Lord understands as an investment on our part in his projects, when we care for the needy, out of love, without expecting anything in return, without having the hope of being rewarded for this. When we look for those who are out there, who have not yet been reached by their immeasurable grace. When we listen to the needs of the Church, when we take care with the new converts. When we do not charge the brothers things that we ourselves can not pay. When we take care of people without threatening their failures and when we truly love not only those who love us, but those who hate us too.
But make an effort, and do not let your hands fail, because your work has a reward. (2 Chronicles 15: 7).
This verse was a warning from God through the prophet Azariah to King Aza (15: 1-15). Azariah was like an instrument that God used in favor of the cause of justice. In order that Asa's religion was not just a kind of "fox's lair," the prophet warned that God's promises, presence and power depended on obedience to the law. The Lord would continue to give victory if the king and the people walked in his ways. In the message of Azariah to the wing, we have the secret of triumph in difficult times. Israel went through critical moments, going on to spend many days without the true GOD (2Ch 15: 3). The king accepted the message of Azariah and reversed his efforts in favor of the cause of the Lord. The following verses show that people also accepted with pleasure and, finally, the result was blessing and thanksgiving.
THE REASON FOR THE PROPHECY OF AZARIAS
"Then the Spirit of God came on Azariah, the son of Obed, and went out to meet Asa and said to him, Listen to me, Asa, and all Judah, and Benjamin: The LORD is with you, while you are with him and, if seek, you will find, but if you leave, it will leave you, and Israel was for many days without the true God, and without a priest to teach it, and without law, but when in his anguish he was converted And in those times, there was no peace neither for what came out, nor for what came, but many disturbances, on all the inhabitants of those lands, because people against people and city against the city was destroyed, because God worried them with all adversities. " (2 Chronicles 15: 1-6).
WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE ACCOMMODATING
The verses that I present here reveal that the people had stopped investing in the Kingdom of God to fight, fight and cause all kinds of disturbances. When the people stop working it is because they are going to start giving work. At this point, we understand better Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he who keeps the law, who is blessed." We can see Azariah was the instrument that God uses to guide the kingdom of Aza and so so much the happiness of Israel.
"Ask, and you know you are, you seek and you must find, you call, and you open up, because the one who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and the one who knocks opens" (Matthew 7: 7-8).
Whatever the desire of the heart of man, his plans, and his plans, will be solved one by one, when they are placed on the altar of the Lord, entrusting to him his ways and submitting everything to his holy will. God always attended, as he still attends his family. He has the best for each of His children and these conditions we have in the words of the Lord Jesus revealed in Matthew 7: 9: "And which of you is the man who, asking bread for his son, will give him a stone And, asking for fish, will he give him a serpent? If, then, being evil, you know how to give good things to your children, how much more will your Father, who is in heaven, give goods to those who ask him? that you want men to do you, so do you, for this is the law and the prophets: enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate, and broad, the road that leads to destruction, and many are those who they enter through it, because narrow is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it "(Matthew 7: 9-14).
Before deciding to stop investing in the Kingdom of God, we must consider the drastic consequences foreseen in His Word that will fall on all who act in this way. Jesus said: "And that servant who knew the will of his Lord and not himself, nor did according to his will, will receive many stripes, but what he did not know and did things worthy of flogging with few lashes will be punished. to whom much is given, much will be asked of him, and to whom much has been entrusted, more will be asked of him. " (Luke 12: 47-48) The Apostle John in the book of Revelation 22:12. He said: "And behold, I come quickly, and with me is the reward that I have to repay each one according to his works."
Work while our body supports, because with the passage of time, old age comes and with it the fatigue, discouragement and other things that is typical of the elderly. The Lord recommends that we work as day, His recommendation is not to work when we already have retirees. When we are already controlled, with a house to live, enough income to live, with a little house on the beach for rest and other resources, but He calls us to work today, while the night does not come: The night of senility, fragility, of diseases derived from age. The night of diabetes, of high blood pressure, of joint pains or possibly the night of physical death.
I conclude with the words of the Divine Master in Luke 12:20: "But God said to him: Crazy, tonight your soul will ask you, and what you have prepared for who it will be?"
In addition to singing to God, I work as a Sunday school teacher in my congregation with this small group of children whom I prepare for the Lord's work. A thousand blessings for everyone.
