The faith in God displayed by christians of old is sure proof of their unwavering faith in God. Personally I think they faced more trials in two weeks than most of us would even face in our life times. But still, our faith wavers at little persecutions and trials. I think we all need the holyspirit. He alone is the answer to all our problems. He would teach us the right things to do, how to love, how to live and most especially how to become overcomers. We should never forget philipians 4.13 that tells us that we can do all things through christ that strengthens us. Note that we weren't told some things but all things. Through the help of our lord Jesus Christ, we would definitely overcome.

Taking a look at the apostles of Jesus Christ as of old with the kind of faith they had to be able to go trough mythrdom for christ I don't think their will he such kind of faith in todays world,they really have an unwavering faith which made them to overcom many obstacles.
