As long as the earth remains, there will continue to be a co-existence of good and evil, light and darkness, joy and sorrow, peace and war, blessing and cursing etc. But there is coming a time when there will be a complete separation between the forces of good and of evil.
The Lord Jesus himself taught that at the time of this final separation. "All the nation's will be gathered before Him and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:32)." Those who are designated as the goats will go away to eternal punishment and those who are the sheep to eternal life! Matthew 25:46.
As believers, we do not have the guarantee that we will not experience evil throughout our sojourn here on Earth but we have comfort in the fact that God's grace is sufficient to see us through our trying times Isaiah 45:2.
Furthermore, we have the full assurance that if we make the group of the sheep on the day of final separation we will end up in a place where "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
