God's promises are exclusively for his children.if you carefully consider the lives of men and women who have prevailed in holding God to his words concerning their lives and situations,you will find that they are people who have sound,personal relationship with God.For instance look at King David,he was not a stranger to the throne of Grace,he walked closely with God with a pure heart and in Faith,no wonder he became "a man after God's own heart".

The first thing to do is to know and have a personal relationship with God by accepting him into your life as your Lord and personal Saviour first so that you can come with boldness to ask for anything you need.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The first promise of God anyone can boldly lay claim to is that which concerns the salvation of his/her soul,with a sincere heart and penitent heart to the assurance that 'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved'.Romans 10:13 .
As you purposely draw nearer to God by daily communing and fellowshipping with him out of a pure and honest heart,God will hold you dear to his heart in very high esteem,then be rest assured that all the promises God has said will certainly come to fulfillment in your life.
You must know what God has said ,its only by knowing that before you can boldly apply God's promises in your life and present them to him for fulfillment,If you lack the knowledge of the bible and lack the knowledge of your basic rights in Christ,therefore being held by the captives of the enemy.If you only read your bible on Sunday in the church,it won't be enough time to study and find out God's own promises for you as a child of God,the bible says in Isaiah 5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Out of ignorance, some Christians live a shabby and backward lives,their lifestyle is far from being children of the king they claim to be,they are often bowed down by life burdens and are seemingly oblivious of how to attract Christ the burden bearer to all situations.If only we will give more attention to the word of God instead of things of the world!many of our trails and tears would be turned into testimonies as we discover many precious promises of God that will help us to unlock the treasure of Heaven and pull down strongholds of the enemy.

Another way is to prayerfully ask God to do that which he has said.Getting God's intervention in any challenge goes beyond knowing his promises and believing in them,you must deliberately,fervently and persistently present your desire for the fulfillment of these promises through prayer.
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
God knows all our needs and has made promises to fulfill them but he still wants us to personally talk to him about these needs.James 5:16 ...........The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
God is limited by our prayers,prayers can do what God can do. if we learn to pray aright in the name of Jesus,we can call the shots in our personal lives,family and our country. Difficult situations,mountain of challenges will be dissolved if only we can pray. We can rain down showers of Blessing upon our families and nations through our prayers.Wicked plots can be quashed through fervent prayers.

Since we cannot successfully handle our lives on our own,then we must always be in desire and commitment to seek supernatural intervention and divine involvement in any situation. We must not move an inch without the presence and guidance of God in our lives,hence we must constantly seek these through prayers.When a believer stops praying,spiritually speaking he or she stops breathing and living,therefore we must continue to pray."Pray more and talk less",Be sensitive to God as he you speak to him in prayer,so that you can hear him speak to you too.There must be soberness and submission to God's will as you pray.Make quality time to pray,don't ever be tired of praying and determine to confront life issues with prayers and continuous victory will be yours.Amen.
