The power of obedience

Exodus 19:5
Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine.

Obedience is seen as doing what you are told to do. The ability and willingness to comply with the instructions given. It is also the process of being respectful, submissive, observant, dutiful, yielding to order.Obedience to God’s commands is the true sign of your love for God, and the only way you can know if you are obeying God is by knowing his Word. Power has to do with the ability and strength to do work, the mindset and zeal to do work things.
To obey is better than sacrifice because the way to climb upstairs in life is by obedience. The power of obedience is that strength benefits, joy that is seen in the act of been respectful even in the midst of trials in life. God told Abraham get yourself and your family, servants and other properties; go to a place that is outside your fathers land that I will show you. Another time he told him get your only son Issac and make Sacrifice unto me.
These scenes did not happen to him alone, it also occur to some great individuals in the Bible like Isaac, Joseph, Peter, and other disciples even the wedding at cane in Galilee e.t.c. looking at the way this people actually obeyed God, it was recorded that they succeed in life. The outcome is usually positive like that of Abraham, God blessed him without measures, Isaac was blessed even in a strange land, Joseph became a prime minister in a strange land, the turning of water into wine, the miraculous catch of fishes e.t.c. all these are the outcome of obedience. Like the Bible said in

Deuteronomy 11:1
Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

Meanwhile the power of obedience is the joy, peace, success, promotion, benefits, grace and abundant life that is place in our general life. Like the Bible made us to understand in

Ephesians 6:1-3
1.Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

1. “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—
2. “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."

Revelation 14:12

1. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

Ways to get obedience benefits:

1.you must observe the person who ask you to obey the instructions
2.you must be ready to obey
3.you must open your heart to obey
4.you must not have a single doubt in your heart
5.you must believe in the obedience power

Furthermore, obedience attracts good things. According to the Bible it says " Do you see a man that is diligent, obedient, humble, respectful and submissive in his business, work, duties, role, he will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men": that is the way out for every great man in position today is as a result of obedience i.e if you can be obedient you can have what you desire in life. Elijah told Elisha, your double portion is focus and base on when you can see be being taken away by God. At the wedding at cane in Galilee, Mary told the disciples what ever he tells you to do, do it. Even the encounter of Peter and the disciples at the sea side.

Other benefits of obedience are sure if only you obey. These other benefits are;

1.you will stand before kings and not obscure men.
2.you will be favored among your mates in a strange land.
3.you will be distinguished in everything you do.

Finally, if you want to be successful in life, you must be obedient is the power of God unto a successful living in life. So learn to be obedient always.
