Project Spotlight: CUPZ Token

in #steemengine5 years ago

Today we'd like to introduce you to one of the new tokens that is making some big waves on the Steem Engine platform. The CUPZ token is a utility token tied to the cupz.io website and games that offers profit sharing to its holders. The final distribution of the token and profit sharing mechanic has been designed to support the development costs and team that manage the site while still returning the majority of the profits back to the players:

There are currently two games available on the site, 3 Cupz and Schrodinger's Ball, that are played with STEEM. The games present unique elements and style that set them apart from the standard offerings of their competitors and both reward players with CUPZ tokens in addition to any STEEM winnings. We had a chance to speak with Jonesy, a developer for the project, and he let us know that there are new games in the works that are going to be played with the CUPZ token exclusively, which is sure to add more utility value to the token.

If you're wondering how you can get your hands on some CUPZ tokens for yourself, well then you're in luck. Currently you can earn tokens by playing games over on the cupz.io website. Investors also have the option to visit the token's page on the Steem Engine platform, where an initial supply has been listed with set supply and prices defined in this post here. Thank you for letting us share some more details on another one of the awesome projects making great use of the Steem Engine platform!

Why am I always getting shivers when the terms "utility token" and "profit sharing" are used together in one sentence?
