You've probably heard about the new Steem slots that have showed up.
For my reputation, I should get 8 Steem, as well as earn 8 Steem for @acidyo, because I joined with his affiliate link. Sure, not a hell of a lot for how much Steem is worth now, but ehh, whatever. He might end up earning quite a bit with all of his followers though. At least if they end up playing 100 rounds.
Slots really aren't that fun when you play online. You click the little button to make the wheely thingies go and then they stop randomly, and maybe you win.
This new slot game, Steemerald Fortune, uses these weird images that I would guess are based on some type of asian slots. I dunno, I didn't pay much attention and don't really play slots a lot. I could hazard a guess, but I don't wanna offend anyone if I'm wrong.
From what I can see playing the game, rather than just being the center line, it matches with any of the lines, starting from the left.
There's one bonus for certain matches with three in a row, another for 4, another for 5, another for matches out of the row. It's weird, you'd have to play to see.
When I first started playing, I ended up winning a few Steem, but then I ended up gambling it away. No big deal. Not like Steem is worth a lot right now. But for some reason I had this sort of draw to play a bit, and ended up putting a Steem or two into the game a few times throughout the day.
Then tonight, I hit it big!
Well, not really. I earned 10 Steem. I immediately withdrew it. Fucker, I'm done for the night. Maybe I'll play a bit more tomorrow. I might never be up again, so I'm withdrawing for now, and playing another day.
Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a screenshot right away. I just thought of getting that shit out of the account and back to mine!
But I did see my name on the Mega Wins!
I don't know how fair Steemerald Fortune is. They don't publish the chances for any of their wins as far as I know and even if they did, you'd have to just trust them, unless you wanted to spend a fuckton to try to verify the percentage chances of wins and losses.
So what I won might really be the best it's gonna get. Their program might be programmed to give you a win after a bit of a losing streak, always getting you in deeper. Or it could just be totally random. But hey, you know what, if you're into slots, this is actually super fucking easy and alright. It uses Steem Connect, so it's marginally secure. You don't have to put in a credit card number. You can just bet with a few tenths of a Steem a day for the fun of it, never getting out the credit cards, unless you wanna buy some crypto.
Oh, and I actually ended up getting that 8 Steem that was my referral bonus from clicking @acidyo's link! Happened just after I started writing this post.
So I'm 13 Steem ahead, when accounting for the Steem I put in. Might not really be much, but it felt good withdrawing that 12 Steem at first, then 8 Steem that suddenly appeared while I was taking screenshots.

Tried a little and just gotta say that luck based games are not really on my side most of the times 😂 it would be better if they publish the odds, though.

I gave it a try with 9 steem. I really like slots and I didn't mind losing that much, so why not? Guess my rep is too low to give me much chance. I lost pretty quick. But it was fun. I like the concept.

I don't think your rep has anything to do with your chances of winning, just your return from the sign up.
Sorry your luck didn't manage to kick in though.
