Kazakh man returns to his home two months after burying his "presumed body"

Russian media reported the story of a Kazakh man who returned home two months after his death was announced and his presumed dead body buried. In the city of Atyrau in Kazakhstan.

The man left his home on June 20 and did not return, prompting his relatives to inform the police, but about a month after his disappearance, justifying their delay that the man had previously left his home without any warning. After a certain time, the police called the man's relatives to the morgue to identify a body that was said to belong to the missing man. His family members could not identify him because of the very poor condition of the body, but genetic testing confirmed that the body belonged to the man.

He was buried last September while the family received the death certificate. At the end of last month, the man surprised the residents of the city to return home, and said that last summer he knew someone who had invited him to work on a farm in one part of the country. After 4 months the man decided to return.

According to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, the family plans to file a lawsuit against forensic experts who performed the genetic examination and said the body that was buried belonged to this man.
