I take offense to this reductive dichotomy.
This happens to every guy during the colder months and when they get out of the pool, I wouldn't worry about it.
Regarding the hostile takeover, I think it's all of our faults. At any time we could have cloned the chain and had a fair launch or better yet, built or invested in a new platform without the ninja mine.
This isn't the time for pointing fingers, because now people are finally waking up and acknowledging faults within the blockchain, which creates a lot of opportunity.
