Lifeprint is an awesome device for printing photos, videos, and GIFs through DIY Augmented Reality.

Their product video demonstrates the capabilities of this nifty printing device better than words could convey.

The Augmented Reality (AR) feature is especially unique. Select a video clip with the companion app, customise it with any desired effects & print the clip ((watch the product video to know that means!). Aim your smartphone's camera on the print & the image on the phone comes to life - playing the full video.

Send images to approved receiver's Lifeprint printer for the images to be printed out.

Pros:

Print large 3x4 Polaroid size photos directly from your smartphone
Greater colour clarity from improved colour processing algorithms
Bluetooth & Wifi enabled
Introduces AR to the masses

Cons:

Users have been reporting issues with the smartphone app - tends to hang or crash. But these issues should be fixed soon.
The app's user interface also requires some tweaks
