The OpenMV Cam H7 is an open-source MicroPython powered machine vision camera designed for low-power real-time applications.
This is the next generation OpenMV cam model and is the heir or successor of the OpenMV M7 which has sold over 10000 units. It is actually 2 times more powerful than its predecessor the M7 and has a removable camera module for thermal vision support and global shutter.
It also has a standard rolling shutter colour camera sensor.
The OpenMV can easily reach 80 FPS and above thereby making it perfect for constructing your Robocar. It outshone the OpenMV M7 in this regard.
OpenMV Cam H7 can detect an unlimited number of blobs per frame found by segmenting the image using up to 16 color thresholds so you can do things like color code tracking.
The H7 can then merge all overlapping blobs after detection of all colour blobs in the frame.
