If you're an avid hiker, it doesn't take long to realize that Google Maps leaves a lot to be desired, so HikePack made their own navigation app specifically with hikers in mind.

"Fill your backpack with one tap: trails, peaks, accommodation, shelters, and so much more. Same tap gives you topographic and satellite map layers, for the entire map area. You see everything at a glance, and you don't have to manually select which parts to download on your device."-source

Personally the elevation data is the most impressive to me which helps you know what you're getting yourself into potentially before you set out!

Oh and of course everything is also available in offline mode since you don't know where you might lose service while out there on the trail. :D

It is an alternative to the applications that already exist, but it has something that pleases me a lot and it is the function of downloading all the maps and being able to use them offline, that is a great advantage in places where there is no internet connection. I hope you get it for android, although I think it will be difficult because it is direct competition from google maps.

I think this application is very useful for everyone, especially those who often take a walk, and using this application makes them not lost in their journey and can help them a closer path, this is good

I love hiking and this app is definitely great for me because I'm really one of those people who usually get stuck and sometimes lost by not finding the right routes, now with this great app it will be much easier and fun to do hiking.
