Hunter's comment

I know I made my share of mixtapes back in the day and I'd absolutely love it if one of those tapes found new life as a bag, or wallet. This idea is so cool but also, visually beautiful!

"We started to collect discarded cassette tapes and video tapes in late 2016; In 2017, we used those donated tapes to weave into endless MusicCloth®. This year, we decided to use those empty tapes to re-recyle and relaunch to public."-source

Something tells me that one of these totes, since they're so tightly woven would be near indestructible. This hunt ticks all the boxes for me, sustainability, a little bit of nostalgia, and design. If you head to their website they've made everything from bags, to coasters to wall art what a cool idea!

It is a good idea to recycle things that are not in use in order to reduce waste in the world. This hunt is such a good example of making waste things into a beautiful one. Thanks for this @dayleeo

What an amazing re-use of waste generated. I was really wondering about the utility of all those old record tapes and cassettes and how to dispose them off. Weaving them into something useful is a great idea.

Thanks for this wonderful hunt! I loved it.

thank you so much- i really appreciate that @xyzashu :)

Nice hunt @dayleeo! Pretty cool to know that the material was once music... It makes you wonder which songs were on it....

thanks jeff i was thinking the same thing!

This is quite as innovative as any product can be. The planet's resources can sustain more than double of the current world's population if the resources are used sustainably. This is a good example. Cool hunt

eco-friendly products are the future and the businesses into it will be the most profitable ones as this have the government and the masses support.MusicCloth taking input as musical cassette tapes and other electrical peices and turning them into a utlity product as bag is something very appealing and innovative. Great Hunt.

MusicCloth you another great hunt. After seeing this, I go the side for more checking. And found the great words-Each notebook come with a bookmark quote from the end tapes that inspire us. Thanks for share.

yeah i love this project so much, the possibilities of what they can make are endless...

@dayleeo Cool hunt. Wow what a way for recycling these old cassette tapes. Awesome. And it makes the entire thing eco friendly. Great hunt.

Most lovable MusicCloth

Wow, art design concept is incredible, it's a unique initiative to use unwanted things cassette tapes and video tapes is environmentally friendly content. Your search is very nice.

Awesome hunt! best of luck 👍👍👍

I still remember the days when i was listening music at the cassette tapes but never thought that somebody will use their bands for making so cool products. I can imagine there are millions of miles of cassette tape so they do have a lot of material to create. The great part that this is 100% an Eco-friendly project and i hope more upcycling projects will follow in the near future. Amazing Hunt!

I still have more than 1000s of those tapes with me :) Good to see such a great reuse of those tapes. For me, its all about memory, so still keeping them.

i wonder if they will start a recycling program where you can send them in! i'd love to give mine over to a better cause <3

Excellent Hunt @dayleeo

Wow! Amazing, the design concept of the founder is incredible. Such a beautiful cloth that can be made from easily found tapes and that doesn't require so much labour to manufacture those cloth. This will create some sense of inspiration to people that we can actually reuse the waste materials into something amazing and actually contribute to controlling of global warming. Thanks to durability of this cloth.

HAPPY HUNTING

appreciate it @leoumesh thank you!

Welcome moderator🙂

I found it very impressive to see a product from unused cassettes.
The emergence of nature-friendly and nature-converted products is excellent. AWESOME HUNT ! :)

MusicCloth is an interesting product. In my view, it's great not to waste anything and rather turn it into something new. Creativity and usability seems at its peak in this product. I really applaud the good work.

super cool that waste material was used to make this. we need more upcycling in the world for sure! :)

right! love the idea of carrying the beats of yesteryear, seriously can u imagine how many zillions of miles of casette tape is out there? I don't see that stuff breaking down any time soon...

This bag or wallet is well-designed and eco-friendly made from discarded cassette tapes. I like these products. Great hunt!

Those tapes are kind of annoying when they become useless. That is a cool way of getting rid of them while making use of them.

un producto que es muy bueno, porque puede aprovechar los materiales that are just desperate, which is not as simple as vuelto a utilizar, just as you want to convert the product to the next time you want to buy the comunidad.

Super hunt. This is how it must work, old useless things to be recycled into new useful things. This should have been done 10 years ago, and waste plastics in the world would be much less. Nice hunt

thank you so much @feri1

wow
very kretaif
this is a great design from recycled cassettes that are discarded into objects that have a selling price.

This is a great recycling hunt. It turns the technology of yester-years into something usable today. These tapes are good for nothing in today's IT age. We don't have the machines working, and the tape is just a memory of the old movies. It is good that it can be made into something functional and looks high-tech too.

wow I really appreciate that sun thank you - that brings up a good point, there's probably SO much VHS tape out there

MusicCloth is indeed a massive idea which should be adopted the world wide so that old useless goods can be reused in this way. Interesting hunt for sure <3

thanks very much!

Making cassette reusable for nice looking bags is really good idea. It's eco-friendly and cost-effective. Perfect hunt.

Creating some different stuff using old one is a great thing. Normally people get rid off old things. An amazing job done.

It's so nice to take advantage of old dumped items. It is very very useful in terms of people who reclaim such products. I liked one of them with this product.

totally agree @sopranos, thank you!

Great Hunt

Hello, I really appreciate your effort & Here is my opinion-

Pros:

  • Good Design
  • Good Example of reuse
  • Eco-friendly

Cons:

  • None

Thank You & Happy Hunting :-)

Reduce Reuse Recycle
A very typical example of this concept. I must confess the idea is simply amazing and it makes us understand that nothing is completely useless.
Great hunt Hunter

yes the 3 Rs, thanks for your comment rona!

great product I think there are a lot of cassette tapes around the world which are no longer useful for the advancement of technology and that can be reused in different products is great

Giving old items a new life is not only creative but also cost-effective. I found this product idea very impressive. Good work @dayleeo.

Putting discarded cassette tapes into action is itself a great idea and turning them into fancy bags/wallets is epic level. Very good job. I loved the thinking behind this product.

Great way to repurpose old cassette tapes. I like how they look like a completely different type of material, and not just a bunch of tapes woven together.

this is a great hunt!
Eco-friendly products from the discarded tapes is the great initiative to make use of unwanted things.

thanks adnan!

Aswame hunt..♥♥

They used old tapes for a different job. They put the remaining bands in this year and brought them back to the people. This is a very nice behavior I hope all the products will be restored again. MusicCloth is the first of them.

thanks so much!

It is really innovative and smart idea. Discarded items may be a great way to produce new products. They are also eco friendly. Great hunt.

Woww!! Really? I would love to use this one than those made from other materials and costs so much.

Re purposing old things into something modern is just taking care of our future. This new cloths out of music are quite amazing to see come to life.

although i think it would be quite sweaty as clothes on your skin, maybe as the outter shell on a rain coat ;)

You can evaluate your belongings. Instead of throwing them into the street, it is better to consider them as any other item in your home.

agreed, i love the way you put that, it makes you think about everythingyou use and how it can be reused!

Another great hunt from @dayleeo. Truly am always looking forward to seeing your hunt because i know i would always love it. An eco-friendly material MusicCloth.

You've done a great job here

I have used old tapes to crochet with before. I made Barbie clothes and wallets, they are SUPER sturdy.

no way ! @metzli! i'd love to see that, please post on your steemit blog for all of us to see if you haven't already, that's an genius idea <3

I’ll have to get some pictures together to share. Thanks for the encouragement ❤️
