Yep, we can make pens out of grass now! I know there's currently a war being waged on straws, but can you imagine how many plastic pens end up in landfills and in the ocean...
I couldn't even begin to calculate how many pens I've lost in my lifetime, now if you loose this pen, you'll know it will eventually be reclaimed by the earth naturally. <3

Sounds like a great idea to counter the increasing pollution of plastic. But i guess it won't be as strong as a pen made of plastic. And yeah, It will surely cut enormous amount of plastic which is used for making pen.
I bet it would be stronger than the paper ones- would love to test it out :D

Wow! Pen from grasses??? Over here, we just get livestocks to eat off our grasses. Who could have ever thought grasses could be useful in pen production?? Anyway, that's why we are still battling with our plastic pens over here.

I was never expecting that grass can be used to recycle for making Pens. This pend would be a special one. They have got a very unique idea to get something useful out of the grass.

It's a very interesting product. Recently, I've been able to see a variety of eco-friendly products. That means there's a growing interest in environmental protection. This pen is very simple and environmentally friendly. It's nice to see the design as well. I really like it and I'd like to use it. Thank you for sharing.

What about the refill that goes in, isnt that plastic or do they use metal casing? I was recently given a pen at a conference, outer casing made of cardboard or possibly recycled paper. I was happy to see that but the refill was plastic. And i don't lose pens. I keep re-using them to not generate waste but the refill, i haven't found a solution till date, unless i use metal cased ones.
ive found the cardboard ones not that sturdy? a bit like cardboard straws, not a fan! there is a bit of BPA free plastic for the cartridge i believe, the breakdown is 80%20% :)
A great eco-friendly idea. I really hope that its sustainable and economical, as no idea can propagate if they are not feasible economically, doesn't matter how cool they are.

As a hippie who cares about the environment I really love seeing all the technology going into "green" and sustainable products. This world sees enough pollution from oil and its plastic products, companies and products like this are changing the world for the better. Great hunt!

This is so cool dude. It's the best kind of green tech. I mean everybody use pens and I have never seen anyone trying out this "Recycling" thing done on pens. I assume 99.99% of pens just lay there for 500 years or something until nature reclaims them. I still don't know if this is scalable to replace the global pen production. If it is. then awesome. Even if it isn't, it helps at least.
The ink can be refilled which means these pens will eb used for a long time instead of thrown away. the factory itself use biogas and waste heat reducing the impact o the environment.
scalability is an issue yes but how much would they HAVE to scale if we quit loosing our damn pens!
I know i've treated them as disposable in the past, maybe paying 5EU per might help ;)

Well making pen out of grass is entirely a new thing to me, the world is more more and more advanced.. And recycling is a good prospect, nothing goes wasted... nice hunt
yes less waist! maybe they could invent a necklace the pen attaches to so I don't loose the damn thing though!
The concept of making a pen with meadow grass and BPA-free plastics is AMAZING, it is environmental friendly, and has nice hand grip.
It can be refilled but they are offering only blue ink now, Hope they will add different colour ink in future.

Renewable energy is the friend of the mother earth. So if we can have product like pen made from grass, no matter how little it is , its a means of replacing plastics which are non biodegradable, so this is a welcome idea. Thanks @dayleeo for this cool hunt.

I have two pens made out of wood. And this one is one level advanced. As it's environmental friendly, bio degradable and also looks really good. It can be a product to encourage more people on recycled environmental product using. Great hunt!
im sure a wood pen is beautiful though, all pens should be made with a refillable cartridge as standard!

Great product Natural Grass Pen to avoid the use of plastic that once used is thrown in nature (sea, mountain, everywhere ...) and takes years to decompose. Not so expensive with a clean design and can be refilled. Perfect...
