Nice Hunt!
Pros:
- free to use
- supports Android and iOS as well as Mac, Windows and Ubuntu
- end to end encryption with no data storage in between
Cons:
- just too many similar apps out there (Whatsapp, Telegram,...) all with the exact same function so the factor to choose would be what app is used the most by people (makes it difficult to implement a new app like this)
