Robot not only to help humans on land. Now robots can also be used to swim in the ocean, its shape resembles a fish. This fish robot is called soft fish (SoFi). This robot fish has a soft and lively motion and a smooth attitude. SoFi can swim among coral reefs without destroying them.
SoFi can swim forward, moving up and down, twisting and changing speed, pushing its body by wagging its tail of real fish. SoFi, built with generic fish design, is white, weighs less than 1.6 kg and is about 47 cm long.
SoFi is operated using a Super Nintendo controller that is watertight by divers that can reach 21 meters. This unmanned robot can swim for 40 minutes at a depth of nearly 18 meters.
