This is Kapsul (previously named Noria), the window air conditioner of the future. It's less than six inches tall, making it 40% smaller than traditional A/C units. It installs in seconds thanks to a special adapter you place in the window first. Kapsul direct air toward the ceiling to ensure there are no hot or cold spots. It even has a fresh air mode that shuts off the compressor when it's cool outside. The unit can be controlled from your iPhone or Android using Bluetooth connectivity.

This is amazing! So much cheaper than those big units...

Pros:

  • Cheaper than the big noisy units.
  • Those big units often have a weird hose that your window doesn't cope with well.
  • Massive space savings.
  • Controlled by your phone is just amazing. You can turn it on while you're travelling home.

Cons:

  • Really struggling here... since it sits mostly inside, you might knock it when you walk past your window.

A nice product with a nice price! ($499)

I've not heard of this product selling in U.S. but it would be nice for my 2nd home until I get central A.C. If it's 6 inches tall I presume it's lightweight. Thank you for the recommendation.

This product is so needed. Traditional window AC units are so big and bulky and the suck up so much energy to run. I like the link to your phones through Bluetooth as well.
