Nice hunt! Tbh, i wasn't aware old folks face such problems, but i am happy to have learnt. Looks like a super useful device. And to most a walking stick is just an ordinary tool.
This must be useful for those who are blind. They need such stick to work in the right way. although it seems amazing as walking assistance.

I like the idea behind this stick as it monitors walking pattern and if a person is not following the same routine or pattern again it gives alert which will be helpful to correct.
