The world has witnessed several weird projects that utilized the immutability of blockchain technology and to be honest, I am a bit surprised that there are not much academic and research-based blockchain projects out there. Artifacts.ai is one of the few that does.
ARTiFACTS provides a simple, user-friendly platform, purpose built for academic and scientific research that leverages blockchain technology. Researchers can record a permanent, valid, and immutable chain of records in real-time, from the earliest stages of research for all scientific and scholarly artifacts, including citing/attribution transactions.
The video below will say more. Hopefully, we will see more of this in the nearest future.
