Fun thing to play around with and really understand how mechanical watchmaking works. Post the understanding one could look at a complicated watch with 500+ parts to understand how watchmaking us an art now.
I would love to have my own 3D printer as there seems to be no boundaries of what one can make. I am sure we will see this technology everywhere soon as buying parts for things will become obsolete. Nice to know plans are freely available for this type of manufacturing. A very interesting hunt and not something you see very often.
Great product, every day the technology is advanced and using the open code so that other people can paticipe and collaborate focusing on issues of freedom. Congratulations for your hunting.

I used to wonder how it looks like inside a watch. Maybe this can help people's curiosity.
People who love mechanical things are surely gonna love this.
Great hunt.
It might even help the BBC to learn that watches don't need hundreds of gears to work. :-)
