I think this is only for Raspberry Pi hardware, but seeing the many application packages provided in this OS repo, it seems worth trying and tampering with.

There is an ISO download that can be run from a CD on normal pc hardware or then installed on the hard drive. The iso needs to be downloaded from raspberrypi.org/download site.
