It is nice that we are technologically advancing day by day but I think older people are too rigid to make use of these pads on their own otherwise this is a good tool per se.

Very good criticism
This is a great way to use technology that most people already have access to (smartphones) to help deal with a problem that could get serious otherwise. It'd be nice if they could make these for pregnant ladies too to provide regular feedback on if they should be increasing intake of certain nutrients or specifically cutting back on things like sugar or salt. All without setting foot in the hospital.

I just realised the mistake in my previous comment (sorry). The part I think would be good for pregnant people is the at home testing with smartphone scanning to get detailed results. It wouldn't have to be in a pad for that use because not all pregnant ladies experience incontinence.

I have kidney failure so this product makes great sense to me. I hope this can be widely available everywhere soon. This could help a lot of people.
