The reasons why it is favourable for users
- It can be downloaded on iOS or android phones, even windows and mac book!
- Similar with discord, its selling point is the group video chat but with no upper limit of users!
- Skype can be used to have a direct call to a phone nimber even the receiver is not connected to Wi-Fi! Therefore, a foriegn sim card is not a must when travelling overseas!
- New friends can be searched by username on Skype instead of searched by contact number!

I am a heavy skype user on my own since years. The important part is here that users are using this in millions since years. Steemhunt is about cool and new, undiscovered products so Skype is not matching to the product we are looking at.

6. Post "New" Products
Steemhunt is about cool "new" products. Please make sure that your hunt is something recently introduced. If the product is not new, there must be a strong reason to post.
For example, the product must be substantially updated or upgraded in a way that has a positive effect on users.
Even though the set period of time to define whether it is newly launched is subjective, the moderators may ask if the product is widely considered to be a “new product” (or substantially updated).
