Thanks for yet another hunt. Sadly enough I can not approve it as I do not see how this chair fits in Steemhunt’s product scope. It isn’t tech and I don’t see anything innovative or new product design approach in it.
As per Steemhunt posting guidelines:
2. Types of Products to Post
Steemhunt generally covers unique IT or hardware products, including:
2-1. Web services
2-2. Mobile apps
2-3. API, IT solutions, bots, open sources or other types of software
2-4. Tech gadgets, hardware, IoT/connected/wearable devices
2-5. Games
2-6. Innovative Engineering/Design Products (It may cover non-tech products that have been invented based on high-level engineering/design approach to solve a major problem)
This is a autonomous chair. It is not an ordinary chair made of woods.I think there are already many products like this in your Steemhunt list.I don't know why you are disapproving it.How come it is not tech. This chair moves with your body?
So I revisited this hunt and I will approve it, yet that does not make a reference case because:
No, it isn’t tech
It is intelligent design but I doubt it is innovative product design. If anything it may be overdesigned even.
The hunt’s description is whether poor in quality or overblows the product.
How come this is not tech? Because everything is analogue and mechanical. Check the video: you have to activate everything yourself for it to move. What adapts is how it “sculpts” itself around the body. But that doesn’t happen in any technical way.
Comparing is not appropriate. There are often reasons why things get approved. Product design has a step in level.
Thanks for reconsidering. But as I have said there already exists many products like this,If rules you were strictly followed then many chairs like this wouldn't be in Steemhunt list.As a hunter we always check the existing product list.
So it is not our fault. On the other hand it is semi-automatic.Once you fix a position and then move your head from that position the chair will move.
It 3D headrest not every ordinary chair has that.It will always keep your head and body optimized at 55° angle.Does every chair do that? When you lean forward does every chair change its position?.I don't think so.
Anyway, yeah,I see where the problem is might product description is a little bit overblown.I have to admit that.I am sorry for that. Thanks for reconsidering again and I think Steemhunt need to be more descriptive in explaining their rules. So that moderators and hunters don't get involved in this kind of argument about a product.
We generally do not accept “comparing to previous hunts”. It leads to nothing to keep on rehashing that there are others. We have an appeal process if needed, but knowing the community manager I doubt it.
Sometimes it’s just better to know when to stop.
The rules are rather simple: if it is tech or innovative... it will pass. If it is none of those... then it depends on the mod’s interpretation of “innovative product design”. If we make the rules more descriptive...
We will never be able to cover every case. We actually did have different posting guidelines and it led only to even more debates.
Let’s simplify things:
Question: Do you TRULY think that chair fits any of the product categories in Steemhunt’s product scope? Answer: No, it doesn’t. That’s where the debate ends. It’s that simple, really.
PS: yes, my chair follows my body. Have you also noticed how many elements in the chair hunted need to be initiated manually. No, it is NOT autonomous. It’s well designed but well designed does not necessarily also mean innovative product design. They’re often entirely different things, yet innovative product design should also be good design.
It’s your fault because you went with “comparing” to previous hunts rather than sticking to the acceptable product guidelines. I have nothing further to say. I don’t debate just for the sake of debating. Learn from it... or fail again.
I don't know why other hunters don't like this chair, but for me it looks like best chair, because i usually sit for very long time working on the internet, and to that, you need something that gives you full comfort.

The hunt is on.
I don't think that's what autonomous means.

I have learned my lesson.Anyway it was a good debate. Thanks for pointing out the facts that I have doe wrong.Next time,I have to be more careful.
