Electric vehicles are picking up trend these days and are definitely the future. But, these are not just limited to the ones on ground, but aerial vehicles too.
Google's co-founder Kitty Hawk has developed one of the quietest aerial flying vehicle, called Project Heaviside. The vehicle is around 100 times quieter than a regular helicopter and can travel around 62 miles in a single charge, with highest speeds up to 110 miles/hour.

This is an amazing invention. Just look at the sleek design. I see it replacing helicopters in the nearest future if all the features of helicopters can be incorporated. It will just be a less noisy and environmental friendly version. Cool
"100 times quieter than a regular helicopter" is a great ting for the reduction of sound pollution. I'm a fan of VTOLs and it's nice to see them getting interest from technology companies. What we now need to see is a version that can handle more weight/carry more passengers.
In my childhood, I always thought that I want to fly with a car in the sky. This seems to turn true. xD It has no noise and pollution if it really flies. I'm amazed to see such cool environment friendly vehicle.

62 miles on a single charge sounds amazing and it would be very helpful in case of Inspection and good for long distance. And the speed is superb 110 Miles/Hrs.

Great idea of having this type of Electric Ariel vehicle with some cool features that can easily cover 62 miles distance on a single charge sounds good because other Helicopters and planes have more fuel consumption so this would be a great solution to save fuel cost nice hunt

Certainly technology has developed a lot and electric helicopters are being made which are not only convenient but also reduce noise pollution / air pollution. Although it is a battery powered device, once full charge does not reduce the distance by 62 kilometers. Just a precaution is required before starting the journey. Wow! what a wonderful and useful search..

Great design and the best thing is eco-friendly as it's electrically charged and made less sound pollution as compared with helicopters. It covers a fair distance of 62 miles. Although I can't afford such an expensive aerial vehicle but still i am curious to know its loading capacity and how many space is required for its landing? Nice hunt
nice hunt. like that its electric and quiet. great new toy for the rich to play with. i think this will also be good for governments to phase out choppers.

It is indeed ultraquite. Electric is indeed the future. I love the smooth landing. I hope they can build solar powered electric crafts soon. As 5% of world's Carbon emissions are due to aviation.
