SWAYAM is India Government's IT Platform, that has thousands of courses developed by faculties from premium institutes such as AICTE,NPTEL,UGC,CEC,NCERT.NIOS,IGNOU and IIMB. These organizations coordinates the program creation, to make sure the best quality courses are developed and delivered to students.
And most importantly its all free, thanks to such a niche initiative by the Government of India. You can go through the courses online, or using the apps. The courses are meant for students from standard 9 till post graduation. If you want to obtain a certificate then you will have to register and give a small free. But if you want to just go through the course, then its completely free.
I wish, may be this would have been delivered on top of a blockchain like steem, to even pay people to undertake such courses. But anyways, go ahead and enjoy these premium courses and increase your knowledge.

Nice to know that our country is doing great job. It is a very cool app to use for every student . it may help every student to choose a coarse of their choice and get expert guidance and certificate as well.I think we should take advantage .

Hi @sanmi, This is a great initiative by the govt of India. I strongly believe that a lot of people are going to use this platform. Though there are already plethora of free information available online on almost any topic but you know what the real problem is and what keeps the new users in any field take the right action is they lose their path in this too much info jungle. There is too much info on almost all the topics but no one tells you where to start from. Unfortunately, many of us need that spoon feeding to get started on something and this is exactly what platforms like SWAYAM do. Your suggestion about launching this platform on Steem blockchain is good one and may be you should come forward and take the initiative in this regard.

Wow this game is super @ sanmi, I like that governments support decentralized learning because I personally think that universities take a lot of time in some careers. In addition all the courses that are dictated here are completely free. It would be perfect if it were available in a more universal language such as English, but something starts.
All courses are offered free of charge under this program, but the fees apply if the student requires a certificate.
