Anytime you plug anything into a wall socket, you are drawing current.If the device is plugged in, on or off, it draws current. To actually save money on your electric bill, unplug the device from the wall ( when not in use) and put in a plastic plug that, they make for protection purposes.When a wall socket(outlet) has nothing plugged into it, it is wasting electricity because, there is still electricity flowing into the wall socket.Wasted electricity is called "EDDIES."
